Benefits of Membership

FRIENDSHIP - There is no better way to meet and make friends with other at-home Moms in our community! By attending some of our many monthly activities and by joining one of our many playgroups, you and your children will no doubt make many friends.

SUPPORT SERVICES - Our Support Services Coordinator organizes support for our members in many different ways. She is most known for arranging for our members to prepare five meals for a member's family after the birth of a new baby. But she may also organize members to baby-sit for a member's children or arrange for the club to send flowers if a member (or a family member of a member) is sick or hospitalized. She also organizes groups of Moms who want to share common experiences or issues (such as premature deliveries, c-section/vbac, postpartum depression, multicultural families, early intervention/special education, children's allergies, adoption, etc.). Please let her know if you would like to join one of the support groups or if there is any way our club may be able to support you (or another member). Supporting each other is what the MOMS Club® is all about!

NEWSLETTER - Our monthly newsletter will keep you informed about club activities and issues, but most of all will let you know that you are not alone in facing the unique challenges of being a stay-at-home parent. The newsletter will be mailed to you the last week of each month. We welcome any articles, activities, ideas, recipes, poems, quotes, etc. that may be of interest to our members.

BABYSITTING CO-OP - Joining the Babysitting Co-op may give you some much needed time off! The Co-op is a group of our members who baby-sit each other's children on a reciprocal basis. Contact the Babysitting Co-op Coordinator if you are interested in joining or finding out more information.

HOOT COMMITTEE - The idea of HOOT - Husbands Out Of Town is for us to support each other while our husbands are away. If you let the HOOT Committee Coordinator know when your husband will be out of town, she will let you know if there are other Moms in our club whose husbands have overlapping travel dates so you can call each other and plan to get together if you would like.

YAHOO GROUP - We have a Yahoo! Group for the MOMS Club® of Sharon, MA that you will be invited to join when you join the club. Presently fairly low-volume, parents can use the group to ask questions, exchange useful information and receive recommendations on a variety of topics.
