Membership

The MOMS Club® of Sharon, MA welcomes all mothers to join our club. Though the club was started for at-home mothers, mothers who work outside the home are also welcome to join. Prospective members should email the Membership Vice-President to learn more about our club and to receive a complimentary newsletter and membership form.

Prospective members are also invited to attend two Business Meetings to learn more about the club, but keep in mind that for liability reasons, all other club events and activities (including playgroups) are for members only. You can learn more about the MOMS Club by visiting the International website at www.momsclub.org.

Our membership dues are $25 per year (and may be waived in the case of financial hardship). We are a nonprofit club so all money is used exclusively to cover club expenses and projects. Examples of club expenses are things such as the printing, copying, and mailing of the monthly newsletter; office type supplies (such as name tags for club meetings, folders and copies for the new member packets, etc.); and the yearly dues ($2 per member), which are sent to the International MOMS Club organization. At times, money from the chapter treasury is also donated to charitable organizations. Anytime club funds are spent, it is first approved by a majority vote at a Business Meeting.

Club membership is good for one year. Upon your membership anniversary, a notice will appear in the newsletter asking you to renew.

There are clubs in nearly every town bordering Sharon! New clubs are being added every month. If you are not in Sharon, and are interested in finding other chapters in your town or area, email momsclub@aol.com, and express your interest in finding a chapter close to you. The international headquarters also provides a web page to help you locate a chapter near you. If you do not have access to email, you can mail them at International MOMS Club, 1464 Madera Rd. #N191, Simi Valley, CA 93065. They will let you know the nearest chapter. If there is no chapter in your area, you can start your own. It's easy! The MOMS Club gives you all the necessary tools to start your own club.
